Leicester based metal band Beholder have released their first studio album 'The Awakening'. Recently I produced graphics for the CD Sleeve as well as designing the Band logo itself. One of my oldest friends plays guitar in this band and to see him do so well brings a tear to my eye. I urge you to check out this band and pick up 6 copies of the album. You can vist their myspace and llisten to Beholder by clicking here. ______________________________________________________________________________ 21 November 2009 Despite buying Ableton Live a while ago, its been a very long time since I recorded anything. I have used the software mainly for remixing on the fly but have been reluctant to actually finish a track. Maybe my holiday has fueled inspiration but I finally sat down and produced a remix of the 1989 Janet Jackson song 'Miss You Much'. I have uploaded the track to youtube, hope you like. _________________________________________________________________________________
My partner and I have just got back from our two week holiday to Sun Island in the Maldives. We had the most amazing time and despite a little rain we spent most of our time relaxing by the beach or snorkeling in the reef. As much as I would like to be back there it feels nice to be back home. I will post a link to some of my photos once they have been edited. _________________________________________________________________________________ 2 November 2009 I will be away for two weeks from tomorrow as Im off to the Maldives. Very excited, its a long flight but Im sure it will be worth it when we get there!!! _________________________________________________________________________________ 31 October 2009
Happy Halloween guys! No parties this year I think we're going to just relax with some horror movies. Ive just carved my first pumpkin and its not too bad. If I had my way I would have 20 of them lined up outside our house. I wish England took Halloween as seriously as the United States! Have fun guys. _________________________________________________________________________________
